Beautiful Ground.

So the title of this one is based offa the song by Grandaddy called "Jed's Other Poem (Beautiful Ground)" in which Jed, a robot, writes a poem that is discovered after his untimely demise via alcoholism.


I was messing around some different techniques this time around. I decided to try out some underpainting before I went on to the colours portion. It was really interesting and I actually quite like how it turned out. I'll have to go back to it later on to see what else I can produce. Enjoy!

    Hey good job on this. You paid good attention to the details (unlike me) and I can see (barely) that texture :D Nice touch! I love it, this picture is really awesome and this is quite an emotional looking robot which is a totally awesome thing.

    Hehe, thanks a bunch. I appreciate it there Dali. I wanted to pay a lil bit more attention to detail this time around. And I also wanted to make sure that the texture didn't slap you in the face. :P
